Eve Yankah was inspired by her 4-year-old daughter (at the time) who loved eating crisps. In her quest for something healthier and more inclusive, she created London-based BEPPS Snacks. Eve, who is now an award-winning entrepreneur within the Consumer FMCG space created deliciously healthy, plant-based snacks that are low calorie, vegan friendly, and gluten-free, using black-eyed peas - something she grew up eating in her childhood. 
Eve approached Modernity Marketing in 2020 with the aim to raise awareness of new flavours, new supermarket partnerships as well as drive online D2C sales. 
WHAT WE DID:
We developed a targeted digital advertising campaign to reach health-conscious consumers on social media platforms, with a focus on the higher-value bundle boxes. We also recycled and animated content Eve already had available to create the ads.
RESULTS:
The digital advertising campaign resulted in a 50% increase in website traffic and a 30% increase in online sales within the first month of the campaign.
Based on the success of this campaign, BEPPS continued to invest in targeted digital advertising, to drive awareness and sales. Additionally, BEPPS expanded its product line to include healthy pea, pulse, and grain snacks and continues to educate consumers about the health benefits.
BEPPS is now available in Tesco, Asda, Ocado, Amazon, Harvey Nichols, and Selfridges.
Eve raised £400k in funding in 2021 to use the funds to continue to expand operations and business reach.
